You can now easily set up and prove your COVID vaccination status via your phone.
This is done using the Service Victoria app, the same app we all use to check into shops and other places outside of your home.
Once you’ve set up proof of vaccination on your phone, the Services Victoria app will verify your vaccination certificate at the same time you check in at a venue.
How to Set Up COVID Vaccination Proof on Your Phone*
To start with, you need to have received two doses of a COVID vaccination and have a MyGov account that’s linked to Medicare. You should then:
- Update your Services Victoria app through Apple App Store or Google Play
- Follow the instructions to link your COVID immunisation record
Once you’ve set this up, you’ll get a tick for checking in and another tick confirming your vaccination certificate is valid.
To get a hard copy of your vaccination statement, call Services Australia on 1800 653 809. They’ll post it to you within 14 days.
