GENERAL PRACTITIONER
MD, FRACGP, BSc
He/him
Andrew is a warm and welcoming doctor who offers kind, inclusive, and collaborative care to everyone who walks through his door.
Andrew completed his Bachelor of Science (Chemistry, Microbiology) at La Trobe University in 2014, going on to study Medicine at the University of Melbourne.
He trained at Austin Health (Hospital) before practising in various family GP clinics in suburban Melbourne.
Andrew feels it’s a privilege to care for each patient as a whole person – not just their symptoms, but also their story – and believes compassion and curiosity are essential for understanding each person’s unique view of the world.
As a queer person living with ADHD, he brings a deep understanding of the challenges faced by marginalised communities.
He creates a non-judgemental space where everyone feels safe, seen, and celebrated.
Andrew is also an HIV s100 prescriber, qualified to prescribe specialised medications for managing HIV, including PrEP.
Having personally navigated long COVID, Andrew appreciates what it means to live with a chronic condition.
His experience has shaped a deep understanding of the complex nature of persistent conditions and the importance of care that considers both physical and emotional well-being.
On his days off, Andrew enjoys tinkering with 3D printing and finding creative ways to bring ideas to life.
He’s also a keen runner who regularly loops The Tan around the Royal Botanic Gardens.
