Dr Caroline Roth
GENERAL PRACTITIONER
MBBS, FRACGP, Dip Child Health, DRANZCOG Adv
With her impressive clinical experience and empathetic approach to patient care, Caroline is a GP in high demand.
She embraces all aspects of general practice, with particular interests in:
- Women’s health
- Pregnancy care
- Kid’s health
- Chronic and complex health
- Sexual health
- Minor surgical procedures
She completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery through James Cook University in 2016 and went on to gain a Diploma in Child Health.
Over the following years, Caroline undertook advanced training in obstetrics and gynaecology, working as a senior resident and registrar at hospitals in Brisbane and regional Victoria.
Today, she consults as a GP obstetrician for the Colac community in southwestern Victoria while also practising in South Melbourne.
With her invaluable experience, Caroline can advise patients on a broad range of gynaecological care, including Implanon and IUD insertions and medical pregnancy terminations, and can help manage miscarriages.
She is also completing extra skin cancer training and has experience performing biopsies and removing suspect spots.
Caroline relishes the lovely little moments she has with patients. Her easy-going nature often sees her personally connect with people or give hope to someone down on their luck.
After work, Caroline enjoys time with family and friends and keeping fit. She’s also on a mission to improve her cooking skills, though she admits streaming the hilarious TV show Taskmaster while in the kitchen doesn’t help.
