Elaine began her training at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital after graduating from the University of Sydney. She completed her fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in Melbourne.
Going on to practise in South Yarra for over nine years, Elaine becoming one of the area’s most in-demand and well-loved specialist GPs.
At Doctors of South Melbourne, she now offers more people access to her relationship-oriented, communicative method of practise.
Elaine has extra training in shared care (pregnancy care), skin cancer medicine and focussed psychological strategies (including cognitive behaviour therapy, clinical hypnosis and counselling).
She enjoys the full spectrum of general practice and has special interests in:
- Mental health
- Women’s health
- Child and youth health
- Pregnancy planning and shared care
- Skin checks
- Chronic and complex health needs
When not at work, she takes care of her two girls and is an impressive cake decorator.
