With her impressive clinical experience and empathetic nature, Layilla is a GP in high demand. She embraces all aspects of general practice, with particular interests in:
- Women’s health
- Mental health
- Kid’s health
- Skin health
- Sexual health
- Chronic and complex health
- Sports medicine
Layilla graduated from medicine at the University of Melbourne in 2009, going on to undertake her residency at Western Hospital. Further study saw Layilla qualify to practise as a GP in 2014.
She’s also completed a Diploma in Child Health.
Layilla has worked in GP clinics and hospitals across Melbourne and loves caring for socially and culturally diverse communities. She prides herself on being part of the local patient support system, helping people make informed decisions about their health and well-being.
Outside of hours, Layilla practices what she preaches. She keeps physically and mentally fit with gym training and a passion for the arts.
On weekends (and the occasional school night), Layilla enjoys spending time at the NGV and our city’s world-class jazz venues.
