Dr Natalie Fonda
GENERAL PRACTITIONER
FRACGP, MBBS, BEH (Paramedic), GradCert Sexual Health
Natalie enjoys all aspects of general practice while being interested in:
She began her medical career as an advanced life support paramedic with Ambulance Victoria.
Wanting to offer patients broader preventative healthcare, Natalie decided to undertake a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at Deakin University. After completing her studies, she began hands-on medical training as a hospital intern at Alfred Health.
Natalie went on to work as a hospital resident in Queensland before completing her GP training through James Cook University.
Now working back in Melbourne as a family GP, Natalie continues to fulfil her goal of providing ongoing patient care.
She’s also a passionate medical educator. Natalie is a part-time teacher and tutor in Paramedicine Science, as well as a supervisor for training general practice registrars.
When it’s time to unwind, Natalie keeps active by cycling, swimming and hiking. She’s also a bit of a foodie and enjoys exploring new places around Melbourne.
Natalie consults twice a month to care for her existing patients. She’s not seeing any new patients and has limited availability.
