Dr Tasha Patel

Tasha prides herself on being a doctor you can trust. Her favourite part of practising as a GP is providing personalised care while building long-lasting therapeutic relationships. Using this approach, Tasha will work with you to help achieve your health goals.
Her interests include:
- Men’s health
- Women’s health
- Kid’s health
- LGBTQI+ Health
- Sexual health (including PrEP)
- Chronic and complex health
After graduating from the University of Newcastle in 2015, Tasha practised at various hospitals in NSW and Victoria. She gained skills in regional and metropolitan areas before completing GP training in 2020.
Her rural GP training saw her acquire valuable experience in ‘cradle-to-grave’ care. Tasha particularly enjoys looking after children and young people. In 2019 she completed Advanced Rural Skills training in child and adolescent health.
She also has an interest in LGBTQI+ health, including hormone replacement therapy for gender affirmation.*
Tasha is an avid Western Bulldogs supporter and dedicated foodie. On weekends, you’ll find her at a footy match, farmer’s market, or trying out Melbourne’s latest restaurant.
* Tasha only initiates hormone therapy for gender affirmation in people over 18 years old.
